Ritual + Reverie meditation and tea web experience
Brief: Ritual + Reverie is a web experience that asks you to stop scrolling and start steeping. Three questions: how you feel, how you want to feel, and which element is calling to you. These prompts lead you to a card drawn from my original oracle deck, a tea blend chosen for that card, and a short guided meditation in my own voice. It ends by asking you to set the screen aside while your tea finishes steeping. A digital experience designed to give you back to yourself rather than keep you on screen. Current launch iteration includes 4 unique outcomes with plans to expand this to 22 and then 44 unique experiences.

Process
I began with the simple tension: phones are built to hold our attentions. I wanted to make something that would gently guide the user back to themselves through a multi-sensory experience. I mapped every feeling to card concepts and illustrations and shaped the journey as a lunar cycle with moon phases marking your progress through the experience. The sensory details are inspired by my yoga and tea practice: a low harmonic drone, singing bowl, and a visual timer that fills with the color of your chosen tea blend to indicate guided meditation progress as you breathe. The process blended personal experience: my original art, tea recipes, and meditations; content creation: video and audio capture and editing; and AI-assisted web coding through Claude.
